A quick revamp to bring floral fusion to my Horn Sewing Cabinet.
After completing my silky oak sewing/craft cupboard restoration I was looking forward to bringing some more floral fusion to my craft/office room.
I went back to my favourite antique shop to purchase some more Re-Design with Prima furniture transfers - and grabbed the last floral transfers in stock - seems stock goes quickly, I was only there a few days ago there were more choices.
I've had this Horn Sewing Cabinet for a few years now, purchased secondhand in good condition and it has been very useful. Revamping it into its own piece of art has been worth it. Good utensils and appliances don't just have to be functional, they can also be beautiful.
I didn't take a before photo but there isn't much of a difference to the original condition - the laminate is a nice soft neutral colour and the transfers applied nice and easy.
The revamp with added flower transfers to bring more colour and beauty to my craft space.
Decor transfers by re-design with Prima.
What's next?
This revamp was simple and cost $30 for the floral transfers and some of my time applying them. I sealed with a light waterproof sealer which can be hardly seen just to be sure to give the flowers the longest possible life.
I'm always thinking of what else I can do next...I have more ideas.
