You know those boxes you throw out that you bought food in at the grocery store? They are clean and great cardboard/cardstock to make journals out of. The structure is already there, the size is great - you can leave as is or customise to suit. Here are some I've made.

For the journal lover that loves bold floral and fluffy fringe.
This journal is made from a Woolworths slow cooked beef brisket food box covered initially with book pages and then layered with this lovely bold floral linen fabric. Yes, food boxes are great journal covers.
The spine is covered in lovely black brocade with gold, pink and blue accents but it's covered by the fluffy pony tail of the binding. I've also added metal gold book corners for extra protection and a stylish element.
Includes: 5x signatures with abundant writing space, pages of interest, a page hugger bookmark, embellished paper clips, and ephemera to do with whatever you like on your journaling journey.
Bonus: The beauty of the binding on this style of journal is that you can add/remove pages and or completely replace the signatures once the pages are used and start all over. A re-usable journal cover.
