Handmade creations from everyday new or old items that would otherwise be considered as waste or disposable.
An alternative take on hand made that are a delight to make and bring together creativity, scraps, second hand, treasures, trinkets, junk, paper, card, old books, music sheets, fabric, thrifted notions, napkins and more.
👉 A few notes about my creations. (Click here to read more)
My handmade items including junk journals, signatures, notebooks and ephemera are each a unique and one of a kind item. Even if I make several of the same style of item, they will be unique.
Where possible I use unwanted or 'almost thrown out' (clean) items from my own home, local thrift stores, de-stash / trash and treasure markets and more. Creating Junk Journals is a sustainability craft using up reclaimed and recycled books, papers, materials and textiles.
All inclusions are handmade by me inspired by my own design ideas and ideas from many other crafters and creators across the world that I learn from constantly.
There may appear to be imperfections or wear and tear - it all adds to the charm of each bespoke handmade creation.
Prices for each item may not seem consistent as they are unique creations and each take time - as long as it takes. I price by 'feel' for each item.
I do note use digitals or digital kits or copies of pictures or images. I prefer to use up and repurpose thrifted items that I curate over time that deserve a second life in one of my creations.
Very few supplies that I do use are supplied from online or local sources such as hardware, glues, scrapbooking papers, stickers, washi tape etc.
I prefer not to heavily embellish my journals but keep just enough interest with clusters, ink stamping, snippets and a few other fun scrappy items.
Once you purchase an item - sale is final but please let me know if you have any questions or issues so I can rectify the matter with you.
Your purchased items are to be loved, treasured, used, and customised to your liking for your enjoyment and pleasure in using the item for its intended purpose. Make it yours and add to the charm of the item.
