Tea Dyed Lace Pouch

A very sweet pouch created from part of a thrifted cotton lace table runner. I've lined it with lovely floral fabric and embelished with thrifted fringing and a handmade flower brooch. It is embellished with a few immitation pearl beads and glass beads. It also has a lace pocket inside as well.
BONUS!!! - The embellished flower is actually a brooch which you can remove, re-locate or wear however you like - would look great on a denim jacket.
This pouch does fit a (slim) A5 size notebook or journal and could be used as a purse, clutch, project bag or whatever you would like.
Note: this pouch is purely hand stitched by me with no machine sewing involved.

Momigami Pouch
2x available
Feeling the texture of these pouches makes all the difference.
They are made from momigami paper. Momigami is the process of scrunching up paper and adding adding moisture (handcream/conditioner etc) to the paper, kneading it until the paper is soft and fabric like. It is an ancient Japanese method and there are several ways to do the process.
Once the paper was 'momigamied' - I glued on napkin to the other side (inside) and turned it into these pouches.
I've then sewn on some lace, added in lace sides for a gusset and a flower closure with ribbon to wrap around.
These can be useful to store/carry a small journal, ephemera, personal items or anything you like. They are very light and quite strong.
Measures: 14cm wide x 11.5cm wide
Price: $20.00 each + postage
