It was a lovely sunny day with the wind and rain taking a break today. There were more stall holders today and lots of lovely shoppers/patrons taking a stroll through the markets and into my stall to be inspired by the colourful creations of my junk journals.

Easter Sunday 5 April 2026 - Manly Creative Markets

It seemed like a slow morning but eventually the crowd came for a stroll as the sun came out through the clouds. The wind added a bit of drama but overall it was a good day.

I had lovely chats with patrons that browsed my creations and quite a few journals found their new loving homes.

Easter Saturday 3 April 2026 - Twilight Markets Raby Bay

This was my first time at these markets and the first Easter Markets for this venue. It was a little soggy at times with the rain coming and going and we had a lovely display of a double rainbow and the full moon emerging through the clouds.

I had a fun time with my most busiest market I've experienced so far with customers and market patrons being delighted to view junk journals in real life with many many wonderful compliments and very happy purchases.

🌞The sun was out and many more stallholders were too. A full market day to be had by all under the sun by the bay. I didn't take any photos today but I was there and had great interest as usual.

It was a hot day with rain being predicted again however I asked the rain to stay away again - and it did until just on pack up time!

Many new journal owners were delighted with their finds and purchases of a junk journal and writing accessories.

It was a hot day with storms being predicted however I asked the storms to stay away - and they did!

The sun was out all day, with a bay breeze.

It was a slow day for the markets as a whole but I had a good day and received lots of interest from new and potential customers with one purchase going to make it's way to Germany.

Storms and rain didn't interrupt a day out at the markets.

It seemed to be a slow day with the hot and sticky weather and storms rolling in but the rain held off and it turned out to be my best sales day so far.

Patrons are loving the freshness of a new product of handmade creation at the markets and learning about the concept of fun handmade notebooks.

This was my first market day for selling my handmade junk journals and ephemera.

It was a gorgeous sunny day by the bay side with a spring sea breeze and plenty of patrons out and about enjoying the sunshine, seaside and perusing the creations available by many vendors at these markets

I was very pleased to make a few sales early in the morning as well as receiving lots of interest from many people interacting and flipping through my handmade creations.

I'm looking forward to returning as frequently as I can over the spring and summer months.

✨ Logan Bookfest ✨

I was invited to attend the Logan Bookfest by the platinum sponsor Turtle Publishing who spotted my stall at Manly Creative Markets to share my handmade junk journals alongside the book fest.

A fun day of books, books, more books and other organised activities for all ages and interests.
